Could I get rescinded?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been admitted to UCLA as a PoliSci major from out of state, and so far I think UCLA is my top choice school. Unfortunately, I am struggling with senior year grades (specifically Calc BC). I am taking 6 AP classes this year.

My classes:

AP Calc BC
AP French
AP Macro/Micro
AP Studio Art
AP Literature
AP Biology
Gym (mandatory, lol)

Last semester I received As in all classes except a B in AP French and a C in Calc BC.

I will probably get a C in Calculus again this semester (second semester), but As and and maybe a couple of Bs for the rest of my classes.
Since UCLA specifies I must contact them if I receive two Cs- does two Cs in one class count? And if I do contact them, would these grades result in UCLA rescinding my admission?

I’m super worried about this right now. Thanks for any responses and advice.

I doubt two C’s will get your admission rescinded, but you still need to tell them ASAP. The bad stuff happens when you don’t tell them and they find out on their own.

I don’t think your admission will get rescinded, especially since you are taking so many AP’s! I am in a similar boat like you, but I actually dropped a class (music theory). I sent my change last Tuesday, but I did not receive an email from them yet. :frowning:

thanks for your responses! @alicantekid yea i guess i gotta tell them after finals…lol…
@lider203 good luck! hope it works out
