You're better off knowing now what's going to happen then just hoping everything works out ok. You'll have to send in a final transcript, so its not like they won't find out or won't notice. And by being proactive they'll be more willing to work with you on alternatives such as making in up in a community college summer class.</p>

However, you must immediately email/call the school and explain why you got that D and they may 1) ask you to meet up wtih ur colleges counselor once a month to make sure ur grades are acceptable and/or they may put you on academic probation. However, I expect them to just give you a warning and not make a huge deal out of it.</p>
