Could I have gotten a 2250?

I know this is very speculative, but I want to get an estimate on my score as soon as possible. I took the SAT in May and got a 2000 without studying, and so over the past month, I took about 9 practice tests, consistently scoring around 2190-2260. I took the SAT today and honestly felt so much more comfortable with these questions than the practice ones. Math, I only think I missed one or two, same with writing, and reading like 4 or 5. Could I have gotten a 2250 or higher?

Impossible to speculate. Just wait for your scores. I’m sure you did fine

It should only be about three weeks until you can look up SAT scores online at Collegeboard account.

I would expect your score to be at least 100 higher after the prep.

The future is not ours to see, my friend.

Just wait

The first SAT was last year, the PSAT just a few months ago, how did you do on it?

I took the PSAT in 10th grade, so it wouldn’t really be accurate.

Just because you were more comfortable with the questions does not mean you will necessarily get a good score. SAT tests are curved differently to account for the differences in difficulty. The more you know.

Don’t all juniors take the PSAT in October?

At my school, if you were taking high enough classes, it was your choice to take them either 10th or 11th grade, so I took them early

Taking the PSAT sophomore year does not qualify you for National Merit Scholarship competition, the junior PSAT does.

Some schools give big money if you become National Merit Finalist.
