Well, I did not apply to Cornell AEM. I really did not know much about it until recently, but it is an excellent undergraduate business school it seems. Based on the class profile, I am sad that I did not apply.

Just wondering, could I have gotten in if I applied?

I will make it short:

UW GPA: 4.0
Rank: Top 3%
AP: 4 on Chem
Senior APs: Calc AB, Stat, US Gov, Lit
ACT: 31
SAT II: 700 Chem

Great essays, recs, etc.

Robotics Team (Historian)
Swim Team Varsity
Academic Team
Math Honor Society (President)
NHS

60+ tutoring hours
100+ child mentoring hours

Thanks. Could I possibly get in with a transfer?

Hm, I don’t know, but Cornell is more about fit than stats :/

hard to say, even with a 36 act cornell is not a lock for anyone, especially those applying to CAS or engineering. my opinion.

Thank you. Anyone know the transfer rate at Cornell AEM?

from a lot of the threads here at cc it seems that transferring into the state contracted colleges at cornell is much easier than the regular endowed colleges. so you should have a reasonable shot if the grades are decent.

My college is UF. So it’s an endowed one.

What iceyman92 meant was that some of Cornell’s college are “state contracted colleges” where they receive money from the state of New York governments. Other colleges, like Arts&Sciences and Engineering are endowed in the sense that they are essentially private and do not receive any monetary support from the State of New York.

You mean external vs internal?
