A Note About Application Essays and Recommendations: I believe I will be able to obtain excellent recommendations and write outstanding essays, since I am on good terms with most of my teachers and I am a very good writer (8th grade teacher told me that I and one other girl were the best in the grade)

Thank you for all of your help! I would appreciate not being scolded for being a sophomore, not having taken the SAT, having so many things be prospective, etc etc.

I am interested in majoring in Business Administration/Management.

good stats

except theyre all prospective

:)

Nuh uh

there were at least 2 things in there that weren't prospective

and at least I have some prospective things lined up, how's that legg mason app coming? job apps? hmmmmmm?!

if you we're such a good writer why do you incessantly use the passive voice.

and i'd like to bring everyone's attention to this
Health-B
woops, no MIT for you

No need to get feisty now

And is it so wrong to like the passive voice?

And I'd like to draw everyone's attention to this: blatant plagarism of my forum name

anyway

no one responded to this
sorry

probably because you scared them away!

and it took a while for people to respond to yours too!

well i will give my 2 cents

your stats are very good, especially PSAT, although a weak gpa for MIT. tough schedule and u are pulling off pretty good grades

but keep in mind, most is prospective.

why thank you

yawn...come back next year.

excuse you jPoD, but you don't have to be so negative, and on many other posts blunt, unnessecary, and condescending.

if you're not going to help him/her with her chances there is no point in saying that at all

Bring your GPA up. Make sure you actually do the extracurricular activities that you say 'plan' to do. Fairly easy major to get into fortunately. :) Wouldn't bother with Penn period.

Thank you!

Lemme guess, RedLightDistrict is your first ID?

No, we're just friends. It would seem kind of weird then that his thread and mine have completely different grades, subjects, planned schedules, etc etc. And I did put a disclaimer that said if you were going to scold me for being a sophomore, young, or something like that, then just don't bother posting, so why did you feel compelled to post rudely anyway?

Because I can.

yeah it has to do with a band. we're not the same person

and why would we have different stats then?

anyway. i disagree with sarbear. i think penn is a reach, as it is to everyone, yet i think you do bring alot of unique things, that is if u do what you say you are going to

I know someone that graduated from Penn and she teaches nursing at the local community college. Back in the day, she said it wasn't that tough to get into but things sure haved changed!

'Because I can'?

There's a lot of stuff you can do on this forum that I don't see you doing. For example, being polite and contributing. I'd appreciate it if you'd leave, I just wanted to know my chances, I wasn't looking for trouble and I don't see why had to start some.

The only thing I started was the fact that this thread is rediculous. You have zero chance ANYWHERE without SATs/ACTs....
