Because my high school doesn’t offer some APs I like, I plan to selfstudy AP World History, Human Geography, and Comparative Government and Politics. The first two will be taken in 10th, and the last one in 11th. I know I can handle the self studying because I love these subjects.
However, I want to know how hard these tests are. I’m very into the social sciences, but are these tests hard? Thanks.

Hmmm, I have to say, those are all jokes of exams. If you have a good understanding of geography and politics and history, you’ll ace those tests.

I honestly studied no more than four hours for GovPol and got a 5. I didn’t take the other two.

AP Human Geo was extremely easy! I honestly didn’t study until the night before and got a 5. However, I did read through the whole textbook during the year… Nonetheless, it’s pretty simple. Most of it is common knowledge. You can easily get a 5.

I actually am self-studying AP Comp Gov, AP Human Geo, AP Euro, and AP Japanese this year. Of those, comp gov and human geo are by FAAAR the easiest. All you need for comp gov is the ethel wood review. Read through it, take some notes (optional), take the tests in the end and you’re ready to go. APHUG is also crazy easy. Pretty much the entire course is common knowledge with fancy vocab (distance-decay function: people don’t walk to stores that are far away).

I only started prepping for comp gov and human geo a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been scoring easy fives on all my practice tests.

I also took AP World in class last year, and in retrospect, the class was so easy and formulaic that it could have easily been self studied.
