I want to transfer to UCLA (as a comm major) but I have a couple of questions to ask someone from the UCLA Communications department (and i'm positive only people from that department would know the answers). Is it possible to set up a meeting with someone from there? How do I do it?

If not...is it possible to set up meetings with counselors from UCLA then? I think they will be much more help than the counselors i've been going to at my school.

Look up a contact for the comm department then email them to see if they will allow you to set up a meeting or just ask your question through email.

There is probably a department counselor who would be very knowledgable and willing to meet with you or guide you to faculty you may want to meet. I suggest looking up who he/she is.

Where do you go to school? I know at my community college they have a UCLA rep. that is basically in charge of admissions and knows everything there is to know come by the school once before apps. are due and once after. I think the date is coming up actually.

We have a folder in our transfer center where you can sign up for an appointment with the admissions officers, who like above poster said come a few times a year. The appointments always fill up really fast.
