So I accepted an internship offer with a midtier firm in Chicago for the 2012 winter. In doing so, I turned down an offer from one of the big 4 firms. Now that I've made that decision, I'm thinking that I wouldn't really get the chance to experience the big 4 without actually working there. I emailed the recruiter i met with and he said to keep in contact with him. I've been thinking about asking to interview again, this time for the summer 2012 period, but I'm not sure if this is pushing my luck too far. I liked the people I met at both firms, but the percieved benefits of the big 4 are something that I think I should probably give some more thought to. Would it be too much to ask to interview again, or should I just stick with my current decision?

Why are you looking for internships for 2012?!

2011 just started…

I don’t see why not. You could tell the Big Four you are interested in a Summer 2012 internship, and find out when you would interview for it. I imagine it wouldn’t be until the Fall…

@ goose7856: I wanted to have something lined up after I graduated but before my master’s. I graduate in December, thus the internship for next year. My school isn’t very flexible when it comes to internships outside of the summer.

@ MRoCkEd, I hope your right. I just don’t want to seem so indecisive (even though that seems to be what I am right now) that they say I’m not worth the effort of interviewing again.

bumpity bump…
