Could incomplete on college math course be grounds to recind acceptance?

My S has been accepted into Cornell COE CS program. He has been very advanced in math and has been taking college math through JHU CTY and Stanford's EPGY. Last fall he did not successfully complete Multivariable Integral Calculus from EPGY. It is a pass/fail (no grade) and he did not pass. He is currently taking Linear Algebra through JHU CTY and is presumably doing well. These courses are not required for HS graduation, but he stated that he would take them on his college applications. We will need to complete the final school report and we are concerned that showing an "incomplete" could threaten his acceptance. He continues to receive all A grades in his HS classes.

Could this jeopardize his acceptance? Any experience with this?

I can’t say for certain, but it’s doubtful this would have any impact. Pass/fail don’t factor into GPA and it’s not a course that’s remotely necessarily for high school. The worst case scenario I would anticipate is perhaps a question as to why the class was failed.
