Could my friend get rescinded here?

I don’t think you need to waste your time here. This subject is like “Ground Hog Day”

I have nothing better to do, honestly. Dry weekend and school starts in 3 weeks.

So what are you looking forward to at your first year at Stanford?:)

=] Well, I’m definitely looking into getting involved with East Palo Alto, which is relatively impoverished in comparison to the greater Palo Alto. I want to go back to helping kids who have been in my shoes and provide them with the resources of mentorship and other things that will help them in life after high school. I’m also really excited about getting involved with the ASSU, a frat probably in the Spring and some research/internship opportunities via HAAS.

Other than that, I’m just going to take it one day at a time in pursuing a double major in IR and Poli Sci and start preparing myself for Rhodes and Law school haha. Really excited and I can’t wait … all of my friends are at school already so I’m feeling left out. But it’s my dream school and damn sure worth the wait!

enjoy that weather too! I will be really jealous come December!

Haha oh no, the big thing everyone is shocked about (I was very disappointed when I was accepted and found this out) is that it rains for about 3-4 months straight essentially! But I’m from New York so I guess anything beats the snow. It does get pretty chilly out in NorCal though.

Circular, silverturtle, rtgrove: How do you know the OP’s friend was not rejected by Columbia?

pbr:

I guess that might be possible. I figured the OP probably would have mentioned it somewhere in this thread had that been the case, though.

@pbr,

Good point. We’re assuming in the absence of such information.

Well, clearly he was not rescinded and will be at Princeton soon, so this thread really has no point anymore.

Exactly, now back to stanford. lol

I do not know and have not assumed that.
