Could my last name be why it's taking so long?

<p>My status has been "We have received fall grades" etc since 2/14. It seems like EVERYONE is switching over to "We are reviewing" except me! Even if I were to be rejected, they would be REVIEWING it, wouldn't they??</p>

<p>Let's face it: at this point it's down to reviewing the normal, not-going-to-get-a-scholarship applicants. We're all apparently going to be released in the same wave, so the don't really have to review applications in order of preference. Right?</p>

<p>Anyhoo, my last name begins with a Z. And the next letter is W. That's right, my last name is Z-W-<em>-</em>-<em>-</em>-*. Could I just be stuck at the bottom of the pile?</p>

<p>My last name is <— Zhao (like in my ID name).. and I’m stuck on the same stage.. Marshall Business Administration. What school are you applying to? I’m beginning to suspect that it’s because of our unfortunate last names and perhaps major/school. It sucks because they are probably gonna let less of us in since by the time they get to us, they won’t have enough spots left. :T</p>

<p>No, they do it by school and program and since you guys chose specialized programs, your guys’ application goes through more review I’ve heard.</p>

<p>i don’t think its cuz of last names..i mine is vo..simple and short, but not in the front of the alphabet…u know what i just realized tho, that makes me a complete idiot, there was a one page letter of intent i was supposed to write about why i want to study public relations…i did explain it in my short answer but i didnt write a page’s worth i think…s<strong>t f</strong>k @$$hole</p>
