i called the office yesterday and a not so nice receptionist said that we should check every 20 minutes on monday. I don't know if she said that because i was just the umpteenth person to call about notifications and she wanted to be cruel and sadistic or if she was genuinely telling the truth. Maybe i'll just check tuesday. ugh. good luck everyone.

check every 20 minutes? starting when?

She's just ****ed everyone is calling about the same thing.

Besides, I bet decisions are all done by now and they're just arguing over 50 applications back and forth. And processing the rest.

Last year my DD found out at 1:00 west coast time. She wanted to just turn on her computer and get everything ready so she could just hit the "refresh" button every 10 minutes and the singing bulldog just popped up :)

So, do they send it out all of the 15th?

This totally ruins my day. ><

^^agree with 4mygirls. D checked at about 2 Mountain time (4 Yale time) and results were up, even though 5 was the official posting time. I was guessing they were trying to avoid a simultaneous hit at 5, and those who bothered to check early were rewarded (punished, depending on outcome.)

*** OMG WHY DOES YALE DO THIS?!?! Do they NOT understand that I will have a heart attack waiting?!

EVERYONE FINDs OUT BEFORE US........ why??

Oh well, at least I don't have to worry anymore about when it's coming out.

I wonder if I can pull a dudemanimcool and ask my counselor to find out for me before the 15th, but I doubt he'll do that.

Hm, I agree with the idea that they're posting that later time to lower the possibility of a system-crash. The results will probably be up earlier, though I'm still not sure if I should check my decision in the library (either by myself or with a friend), or wait until I get home (where I can check it with my family). The fact of the matter is that I won't get home until maybe 8pm, so I really don't know what I should do.

What do you guys think? :/

NJBKitty: I'd wait until 8 to check it with your family, especially if you have to check it in the library. The other kids might not understand your cries of joy/anguish, so it might be best to wait until you are in the safety of your own home.

I'm making my mom check the decision...

i wish that yale would stick to its old ways... i may have to rescind to investing in a professional hacker :P
