Could somebody answer this for me?

I'm not too sure what's next. I messed up the last semester of my 1.5 year stint at the big state uni nearby and ended up with a 1.8 gpa. What can I do now? I don't think I can 'transfer' to another state uni, since I think they all require at least 2.0's. So am I right that I would have to take classes at a cc, to get my gpa up? /I'm worried that I would have to take a million classes to get my gpa decent since I HAVE taken 1 and a half semesters of school.

anyyyyyyy suggestions are welcome! :)

that is really something you should be able to find out on your own

but really, getting your gpa up above a 2.0 should not be hard now...is one semester of getting a 2.6 at a community college really that far out of the question?

You first need to figure out why you messed up your grades so badly. Were you in the wrong major? Did you party too much? Did you run up against a previously undiagnosed learning disability? Did you fall in/out of love too often? Did you just plain realize that you were in college because your parents wanted you to be there rather than you wanting to be there?

Now, what exactly are you going to do at your old university/new university/new community college/wherever, that is so radically different from what you did your last semester that you will be able to earn the grades necessary to finish your education? Are you going to get a new major? A new philosophy of life? New career goals? A new alarm clock?

You aren't going to improve your GPA until you figure these two things out.
