Could somebody please explain this to me?

<p>I'm a little confused about these acceptance rates at carnegie mellon</p>

<p>On the inlikeme website, it says cmu's acceptance rate is 30.4%</p>

<p>But if you actually go to the cmu website and do the math, the acceptance rate comes out to about 21.3%</p>

<p>Admission</a> > Admission Statistics</p>

<p>Does it have to deal with the yield rate or something?

<p>CMU’s site is the source to trust. Third party sites like the one you mentioned could have old data or other mistakes.</p>
