<p>I need to get my R&C class over with so I was wondering if someone could recommend a good (aka EASY) R1B class, since literature isn't really my thing.</p>

<p>^I have a friend who took College Writing R4B and couldn’t stand it, and she’s an English major, but to each his own. I’m sure it’s highly dependent on instructors, like any other R&C.</p>
<p>I’m in French R1B right now and it’s going well so far. Generally people recommend things like German R1B, Italian, Scandinavian, etc… These are considered the easier ones. But the biggest indicator of whether or not it will be a good class is who the instructor is. If you can find them online and they have good ratings, it’s more likely it’ll be a better class.</p>
<p>If you are in L&S, then L&S R44 can cover half of the R&C requirement and the L&S Art and Literature requirement in one course.</p>
<p>i took south asian r5b as a freshman. It was easy grade-wise and the reading amount was very fair. I think we only had 3 6-page papers the entire semester and maybe one of 8 pages?</p>
<p>German R5B is probably the easiest. After that is Scandinavian, Native American, Asian and Slavic.</p>
