Could Someone Explain the Z-List???

<p>So after reading this article, I am still confused on the Z-list...
Do the Z-list acceptees come off the wait-list?
If not the wait list, which is what the article insinuated, because they said "after wait list admissions have been made...," where do they take the 30-50 names from???</p>

<p>No. I understand that Z list people are offered a place at Harvard NEXT year. i.e. people Z listed now will go to Harvard in the class of 2015…</p>
