Could Someone help me with this math problem?

Does anyone have a proper solution for:

If p + pq is 4 times p - pq, which of the following has exactly one value? (pq doesn't equal 0)

A) p, B) q, C) pq, D) p + pq, E) p - pq

Thanks

Answer: B (q=3/5)

(p+pq)/(p-pq)=4

Factor out p from numerator and denominator, and since it’s not 0, cancel it…

(1+ q) /(1-q) = 4

1 + q = 4 - 4q

5q = 3

Which solves for a unique value of q = 3/5
