I'm currently a senior and was wondering if you guys can give me some analysis? I've already (obviously) sent out the app. But I'd just like to know my chances since this is one of my top schools. I'm a bit worried because I heard that UW focuses on unweighted GPA, and mine is not that high.

Essays: I would like to think these are pretty strong >< but some of my other classmates wrote pretty DARN GOOD essays.

My first essay was about my experience in school in China. I talked about how it made me more independent. It was a pretty strong essay (I hope).

My other essay was written about dinner time in my Chinese household, and how that led me to learn what I find important in life.

I also wrote a short paragraph noting that I had a reaaaally big drop in my GPA sophmore year (2.8 GPA) because after I came back from China, I wasn't really prepared to come back up to the standard of work that my home high school had. But in junior year, I really brought it up with straight A's (and 1 B)

Thanks a bunch for reading through all this!
