<p>It says we need to pay the first installment by August 15th but then financial aid doesn't get reimbursed until a week before instruction begins.</p>
<p>yeah i dont know this either. could someone also explain this? it doesnt make sense that our aid gets distributed after the payment is due. i am probably not getting something</p>

<p>The article says that the Financial Aid Office “will begin paying all forms of financial aid beginning on August 9th” and “after August 11, students can check BearFacts, in the CARS section, and click on the ‘Quick Statement’ tab to see if there have been changes to your CARS balance.”</p>
<p>So I assume everything should be in order now that California State Budget’s been signed.</p>
<p>if you know that your financial aid will cover it, u don’t have to do anything. last year, I didn’t even know about ebill until my fin aid went dry halfway through the school year.</p>
<p>What about rent? </p>
<p>I paid my full tuition, but I was expecting to have to pay my $100 SIR, CalSO fees, and August rent, but none of them were listed.</p>
