Hey guys, i am currebtly a junior in virginia. I am probably going to appy for simens next year, so i was wondering are there any other science competitons in which ur actual project carrirs more weight than ur gpa and test numbers?? Please help

You might want to look at ISEF.

kool thnx. btw do you happen to know the difficulty of getting the simens award?

Getting into the Siemens Competition or even the Intel STS is extremely tough. You have to have professional-grade research and the knowledge to back it up. Just remember that a love for scientific research and true determination will always prevail.

Good luck with your research report.

Getting far into Siemens and Intel STS (finalists) is almost a guaranteed acceptance to any school you want to go to. ISEF results come out in spring, and since you are becoming a senior (?) that won’t help with college admissions other than take you off the waiting list and into the admit pile pending successful placement.
