damn your a strong applicant...

Definately in at Rice, Make sure you also take the ACT. Score at least a 2200+ on the SAT or a 33+ on the ACT

ok. thanks. how will taking the act help?..let's say i score in the upper 2300's for sat, should i still take act? and also, i was looking at stanford seriously. does anyone have suggestions for it specifically?

and. raiderfan4eva...did you give me my reach/ match list assuming i was capable of maintaining all i said? and is there anything that will increase my chances for the reaches you suggested? thanks.

if you score upper 2300's on the SAT dont take the ACT ... BUT you will have to take 2 additional SAT Subject Tests if you wanna apply at Rice

i'm definitely taking at least 2 more sat ii's if not more. thanks:) ...do you think that i'm probably borderline ona few colleges and my essays and recs will mean a lot?

Well Snowy, I have had 6 friends turned away from Stanford for lack of Extra-Curricular activity, but more so their community service... i mean if you maintain your stats in terms of grades and sure SAT scores are great too, but Stanford's getting thousands of other applicants just like you... make sure you sound diverse and wanted (by the school) in your Essays, thats important, but i would soup up your community service hours... lol and being Indian doesn't help... were not exactly underrepresented... yea, but seriously i feel diversity is key!

i had a friend who was an avid tagger, but he would only write Graffiti on Los Angeles Unified School Districts Headquarters, because the schools was very innercity... the district wasn't to fond of our school and its being very "hood" if you will (which factored into them not giving us money and what not) so he would write messages on the walls... he wrote his essay about that and also sent in a copy of his graffiti and he was accepted... lol i cant lie and say his working at an aids clinic for 300 hours of his h.s career didn't play a big part in his acceptance as well...

yea, so... this really wasn't cohesive, but really really really try to do more things for your community... Stanford loves that!

id say borderline at
-Cornell
-Columbia
-UPenn
-Brown
-Dartmouth

thanks raider. that really helps. what i've been thinking of doing is volunteering weekly in a cardiac center because i worked on cardiology for my nih internship. i dunno. it's just so much to do. lol. yeah. being indian is the not best thing for college apps. haha.

thanks for telling me the borderline ones iambored.

bumppppppppppppppppp

anyone?...
