<p>I still struggle with sentences like these. Could someone revise it please</p>

<p>I think there might be a parallelism error in the use of whether as the first part is a complete sentence “it was …” while the second is a subordinate clause “when I…” but I am not completely sure. Also replace the semicolon with a comma as the “whether” clause is a subordinate clause and cannot stand on its own. </p>
<p>Otherwise great sentence with the use of a correlative conjunction</p>
