Could someone rank in order of difficulty these AP Classes I am taking senior year?

I understand its subject to opinion but I dont mind picking others brains. Im taking AP Lit, AP Spanish, and AP Euro. I already have taken ap calc, ap lang, and ap us history. By difficulty i mean in both class and exam difficulty but im mostly curious how hard is each class rather than exam.

AP Spanish (if ur not native) otherwise easiest
AP Lit
AP Euro

I agree with AP Spanish, AP Lit, and then AP Euro. But then again, it is all about what you’re strong at. Plus, a class you like will be much easier than a class you hate.

I agree with them!

so far the general consensus is that ap spanish is the hardest?

Yeah, Spanish would be the hardest. And Lit and Euro is a toss-up. It just depends on your own abilities. For me, Lit was a joke and Euro was just too time-consuming. It depends on your teacher too.

How about for exams? And if a 5 is achieved on a lang is it necessary to take lit test?

You’ll have to check with your college’s AP policies. At some, the two tests will give you the same credit (e.g. 3 credits for Lang, but 0 for Lit), but at others, the Lit and Lang together will earn you additional credit (e.g. 3 credits for Lang and 3 credits for Lit).

Okay thanks. Anyone what is the difficulty in terms of exams?

Can’t speak for lit or euro - but AP Spanish was incredibly difficult. The worst part was feeling unprepared - even though I had studied my butt off all year. A lot of the exam is up for grabs and it’s hard to predict exactly what’s going to be on the test. It’s all about fluency and extreme proficiency in the language, which can’t be taught in just one year.

Study hard and cross your fingers!

Haha yea i wasnt planning on taking the actual ap spanish exam to be honest.

Anyone else can offer help? It would be appreciated.

Well I don’t know about your school, but in my school AP Euro is a joke like AP Stat. Almost everyone takes the class and gets a 4 or 5 on the AP exam.

I’ve taken all of those classes and exams this past year (senior).

For my school in the class from hardest to easiest: AP Euro (hard teacher), AP Lit, AP Spanish (total joke)

For the exam hardest to easiest: AP Spanish was hardest (because of a bad teacher and bad test prep), then AP Euro & AP Lit were about the same I thought, although I received very different scores on them (Lit 3 and Euro 5).

How easy is the Euro exam compared to apush?

^ I took both and although in my school, the US class was much harder to do well in, I felt the US test was easier. I’m not sure if it was because it was just one country so its easier to keep track of everything or because the test is slightly less specific on the MC. However, the US dbq is harder in my opinion. Overall, I think Euro is slightly harder (the exam).

Aight thanks man. I really want to do well on the euro exam? Any tips?

^Learn how to write a perfect DBQ. That’s easy points. MC is pretty easy… and so are the actual essays, since they let you pick between 3 topics.

I personally found Lit pretty tough. Of course my teacher sort of sucked too…

The Euro exam is more difficult than APUSH, and that seems to be the general opinion.
