Could someone recommend me a university (to get a phD) strong in nutrition science?

Could someone recommend me a university (universities) to study nutrition science (or anything close to it), please? I have a bachelor degree ( Russian diploma ) and want to apply for a phd programme in the USA. My GPA is 3,9. I went through some websites, but didn't find any major connected with nutrition science. Any advice, any inforormatoin will be appreciated.
Thanks

Check Cornell University. I think they offer a PhD.

Go to the graduate school forum and post your question there

What aspect of nutrition are you interested in? Dietetics? Nutritional Biochemistry?

You should read the scientific journals related to the questions that you want to study, and find out where the authors of papers that you are interested in are currently working. That will give you a list of places that might be good for you.

The Nutrition program at Cornell University is in the College of Human Ecology [Division of Nutritional Sciences](http://www.nutrition.cornell.edu/)

Thanks. I’m studying functional (dietetic) and children nutrition. According to my diploma I’m an engineer of functional and children nutririon (transcript from Russian). But I can’t find anything connected with nutrition in the engineering section, actually anywhere…

In some countries, the word “engineer” in a degree title means that a student has pursued an applied science (like dietetics, agriculture, etc.). In the US, comparable programs lead to a “Bachelor of Science” degree. If you want to continue in dietetics and child nutrition, you should search for master and Ph.D. programs with those words in the name. You can use the search engine at [Graduate Schools Search – Find Your Graduate School with Peterson’s](http://www.petersons.com/GradChannel/code/search.asp)

Under “Choose a Graduate School Subject Area”, select Biological and Biomedical Sciences, and then under “Choose a Graduate School Program” you will be able to find Nutrition.

Good luck!
