Could this be a hook?!

Alright, my brother is an absolute genius at playing a guitar. He makes his own music and got many offers to play at many clubs, as well as people calling him up to play at Vans Warped Tour (or something like that, i'm not a big fan of rock music). Anyways, he has been contacted by many businesses interested in signing his band. However, he is freshman, which amazed many people. He has not accepted any offers because of school. Just wondering, if I can persuade him that music is the sole reason he is living and he could get signed by a company and play at the Warper Tour, could that be considered a hook? Really, please be honest.

Only if he becomes famous for it. Otherwise it's a pretty damn impressive extra curricular.

id think they would rather hear about you and not your rocker brother

I think he meant it for his brother....

Let's see...if he gets famous, then yes.

Although, if you are an amazing rocker, do you want to go to an Ivy League school or a top 10 school, where ther will be a lot of work to deal with?

your bro does have a hook. Just getting offers from companies and getting chances to play at concerts is just unbelievably good. Assuming he wants to go to top school, if he can become somewhat famous or play at many concerts to be recognized, he has an amazingly good hook.

It would ba an amazing hook if he has some commercial success.
