Could this be a problem?

Hi guys, I'm a junior and there is something that has really been bothering me lately. I'm not 100% sure if I'm in the right forum(my first post, I'm sorry) so my apologies in advance if I'm not. Getting to my problem:

I went to a school where it was necessary to learn Spanish from kindergarten all the way through the eighth grade, however I switched schools and things got a bit muddied. I had to retake Spanish from the beginning;then switched again. At the new school, they didn't even start Spanish education until 8th grade. I got one credit for taking Spanish 1 and 2 in 7th and 8th grade however in the previous school I was given the New York regents for Spanish proficiency at the end of 8th grade to gauge where I should be(it wasn't actually a grade.). I ended up receiving a 100 on the entire test; writing, reading comprehension, and speaking. So I was placed for Spanish 4. To make a complicated story short, my school didn't allow me to take the class in 9th grade. But they did in 10th. In 10th I took Spanish 4 and in 11th I'm taking AP Spanish.

Other problem. I speak German because of my family, so though in freshman year I was supposed to take year 1, I was removed before the class started(because of my previous knowledge) and was moved to German 4 in 10th. I'm also in AP German this year.

In 9th I decided to take French 1 just to have some basics down and got a 100 in the class and on the final however was unable to continue with French because I had too many other classes.

Sorry that this is so long. I'm just concerned because good colleges(NYU is my dream school for business) prefer 4 years of a language. Since I skipped around a little, could this badly affect me?

No. I am confident that placing out of a language course is not going to be an issue for you. Their concern is if you take 1 yr of like three different languages, leaving you with very minimal proficiency in anything, which is certainly not your case. Also, since you’re taking AP’s in the subjects, that should demonstrate to them clearly that you are exceptionally talented at them. Furthermore, you’ve satisfied the general requirement, which is three years with Spanish 1, 4, and AP.
