Could Use Some Help!

Hey, I need a little bit of help to pick around 3 schools to apply to. I think I'm setting my goals too high, so where can the following get me:

SAT2: 670 Writing, 720 Spanish, 700 US History
GPA: 3.8
Rank: 10/480
AP US History: 4
Current APs: English Lit, Spanish Language, Biology, Chemistry
Extracurricular: Literary Mag Staff 2 years (editor second year), Newspaper staff 2 years (editor second year), student government (secretary second year), Writing Club, National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society (Spanish 1-5)
Awards:
Third place in county science fair 2003
First place in county science fair 2004
Third place in 10 School Writing Contest
Several State Awards for Writing
Above publications won all-state
My list so far has: Dickinson, Bucknell, Swarthmore, Penn (my dad works there and I worked there last summer), and Colby. I think of Dickinson as a safety, Bucknell and Colby sort of as matches, and Swarthmore and Penn as reaches. I think I need another reach and a match in the northeastern area. I would appreciate any help at all. Thank you muchly!

I forgot to post that I want to major in Spanish

Yeah, your assessment seems about right (although Colby might be a slight reach). For more matches/slight reaches, you should think about adding Bates, Hamilton, Wesleyan, or Colgate. Honestly Swarthmore and Penn are big reaches, but if you want to add others like that, try Middlebury, Williams, Amherst, or Cornell. Good luck!

Do you think haverford would be a "slight" reach?

You should look at princeton review online cause they list a "selectivity rating" for every school. I think for you schools listed at 97 would be matches or slight reaches, 98 would be reaches, and 99 would be big reaches. You'd have a very good chance at most schools of 96 or below (those are match/safeties such as Dickinson)

Might want to look at Holy Cross or Trinity.
