what is your class rank? Sometimes the rank will help you also. You need to aim for the top 5%

Unfortunately my school doesn't rank. And apparently the highest that my counselor will disclose is that I'm in the top 25%. Yet the Air Force Recruiter told me that my College and Career adviser told him I was in the top 10%. Hmm. So I'm publicly in the top 25% but I might actually be in the top 10%.

Is the Air Force Recruiter your ALO or are they an Air Force Recruiter? Our DS had recruiters calling him all the time, even up to last week. You want to deal only with your ALO, the recruiters are not there for the AFA, they are there to get you to enlist, at least that is for our area.

Yeah I'm talking about an enlist recruiter which I was looking at before I looked into the AFA.

You need to talk to your ALO, they have the in with your gc and will be able to give you a better idea. Plus, your ALO will be a part of your package since their rec is counted towards your WCS

Alright thanks.

Your ALO should be your official point of contact and admissions advisor...so make sure you contact them! They are usually grads and very willing to share tips for at the academy, as well.
