oh hey, you clicked my thread. thanks!

I am currently in my senior year, and wish to go to college for Film and Television production.

my school list, in order from my "dream school" to my "I-don't-want-to-go-here-but-if-i-can't-get-in-anywhere-else-i-will school"

1.) NYU Tisch
2.) Loyola Marymount University
3.) Boston University
4.) Temple university
5.) Drexel University

Throughout my 4 years of HS i have had a 4.0 GPA and only one honors
class which I am taking this year.

Junior year and this year I was in CSC( Christian Service Corp, which
is the Catholic school's version of community service)

Sophomore year a friend and I tried to found the Film Club, but
couldn't get enough people that were interested. Junior year we
finally did make the film club, myself being the co-founder of it.

Junior year I also was apart of the yearbook committee, and was trained
for this year to help make the video yearbook in which I
will be using a $5,000 Canon HDvideo camera to shoot various school
events. I did get some experience with that camera, was loking forward to using it, but the guy who was then head of the committee quit, he took the camera with him, which was his anyway. But, i am a photographer and caption writer this year.

Also in 7th and 8th grade I was the person in charge of lighting for 5
events at my school in stage crew.

This year I am also writing for my school's newspaper and trying to
get into the school's television program, which I think is full at the
moment.

Since October, and until December 12th, i have been taking a screenwriting course at the university of the Arts in Philadelphia on Saturdays. I also plan on taking another course in either Screen Directing or Film Criticism.

Now, for Tisch, I need a portfolio, which I have, except for the
dramatic essay, which I can do any time now. Also, I don't have much
of a "resume" outside of the stuff I did in school primarily because I
only had one friend that was ever interested in helping me, and I did
not have the resources to do so. I did, however, hear that NYU likes
to accept kids who were never really able to make their own films due
to lack of resources for doing so(just something i heard on another not-to-be-mentioned, sloppy film school version of this site. which, by the way, i posted this there about 3 months ago and got almot 100 views on the thread, and ZERO replies.)

I'm sorry if this was lengthy, but, yeah. Sorry =P

Thanks for your feedback!
