Could you enlighten me about some of these Universities?

Hey, I have been getting accepted a few places and now it is getting close to time where I have to choose where to go, and the following are the ones that are up for contention and a couple of personal notes. I will be applying for something Business oriented at them all.

Penn state: I hear that it should be a pretty good business program and the sports program is very well know. I will be taking two years at harrisburg and then two years hopefully at University Park. They have also sent me a letter letting me know that I can join honors.

University of California Irvine: From what I hear the teachers are really knowledgable, but they may not be the best at teaching. However then at the same time they should be really good at giving more practical training though. I also like the climate there. And I have heard mixed things about actually living there.

Now I am also waitlisted at Babson College, and I have heard nothing but great things from there. Plus I might get some benefits from living near some family friends in the area. And some of my current classmates are going to be going to some unis closer to this area.

Then I also have two anomalies being National University of Singapore and Nanyang Tech also in Singapore, where I am nearly guaranteed a job as soon as I start there due to some connections I have made and the fact that my dad is going to be working in the region when I start as well. And I have heard nothing but good things about both of them. The problem is just that I have no clue when I will hear back from them, so I really need to be certain before making the choice to go there.

Those are the ones that I actually have an interest in going to, my full list is as follows:
UC Irvine
UC Santa Cruz
UC Davis (Waitlisted)
UC Riverside
Penn State
Purdue University
NTU
NUS
Babson (Waitlisted)
University of Hawaii at Manoa

So if you have any info on any of them or a personal gut feeling which would be the best would be really helpful.

If I were you, I’d go to those Singaporean Universities. Write them e-mail to see what’s going on, otherwise, I’d choose penn state.

Yea I am currently mainly thinking of Penn State and Irvine if Singapore is a bust. My main worry with Penn State is that the first two years at Harrisburg might not be as worth while and that I would have to wait till year 3 and 4 to actually start going somewhere. I did not get in at University Park for the first two years, which sucks, but I just don’t want the feeling of wasting my time the first two years and that may happen at Harrisburg. Whereas Irvine is a more constant education. If anyone can comment on there experiences at Harrisburrg that would be nice.
