Or help me with my question?

I know teacher recommendations are really important for college administration. My question is how do you "connect" with a teacher? ie get them to like you for a good recommendation?

bump! please help

eharmony.
Although you shouldn’t tell them you are a student until later on and then you can blackmail them into a good recommendation.

Eh as I approached Junior year, the subject of recommendations continued to come up and I realized that without them even crossing my mind, I have developed a good relationship with a few teachers. I think that before you try to connect with a teacher for the purpose of a recommendation, you should attempt to connect on a personal/natural level…just participate in class so they will like you, maybe bring up something personal in class, send them an article you found that relates to something in class, just be engaging! One of my favorite teachers and me both love elephants so once I sent her the website of Nick Brandt who takes some beautiful pictures of elephants! I don’t think I’m going to ask her for a rec though, lol.
