Could you please make some suggestions?

Okay, this is my first post, so boy am I excited! Anywho, here it goes.
GPA: (tentatively) 4.7 (weighted), 3.98 (unweighted)
Class Rank: 1 out of 550
Courses: Before I finish high school, I should have 11 or 12 APs and 8 honors courses (one or two AP classes I will have to take online).
Languages: I'm fluent in English as well as Farsi. Hopefully, I'll pass my AP Spanish exam and be considered fluent in that. I'm trying to learn conversational French because at the moment, I only know a broken bit of the language.
Background: I'm a Caucasian female. My parents moved to the U.S from Afghanistan, and I was born in Seattle.
Major: I am looking into journalism, English, economics, and international relations at the moment. I would like to be either an international correspondent or an economic journalist at this point.
Clubs/Achievements: By my senior year, I will have had the following statistics (hopefully).
3 time academic letter recipient
3 years in Key Club
-2 years as Secretary (won the best secretary award for my District of Cali-Nev-Ha [California, Nevada, and Hawaii])
-1 year as Vice President
-1 year as Division Secretary
2 years in Junior Varsity Tennis
2 years in FBLA
2 years in NHS
-1 year as Vice President
2 years on the newspaper staff
-1 year as Gossip Columnist (possible award involved)
-1 year as editor
-Member of the National Society of High School Scholars (I heard it was a scam after I joined, but I still have no idea)
-Part of Stage Crew in 2 school plays
-Stanford Summer School for 2 years
-Writer for a daily online newspaper (I really have no idea why I'm mentioning this other than the fact that it takes up a bit of my time)
-Steady part-time job at a library for 2 years (working 12-18 hrs. a week)
-Steady Volunteer Work since the 7th grade
-1 Summer spent in a 'Trial By Peers' workshop

Of course, I would love to go to the Ivies, but I'm a bit more realistic. I'd honestly love to attend NYU or Carleton (even though Columbia is my dream school). I was wondering what my chances are at these schools.
I'm writing a book on life tips for teens, and I'm actually thinking about sending it to a few publishers (so also give me your opinions on that please). I've yet to take my SAT or my ACT, but quite a few of my teachers have told me they expect me to get a perfect score on the latter (I'm not really sure if that's good or bad). What do you think of my ECs, can you suggest anything else I could do, etc? I don't play any instruments, but I have received a number of awards for my writing ability. Thanks for reading, BTW!!

I'm a new member too! Let me just say that your grades and classes are excellent. However, your ECs aren't very well built. You haven't been doing anything for too long accept for Key Club. You might want to make sure you join clubs that help to point your ECs in a specific direction. If you're in FBLA, make sure to be very involved. Also, try to become more involved in your other clubs as well. The fact that writing is your hobby is something you should make sure to mention. If you can, print your book. Send it off to publishers because that will definitely get you noticed by colleges!

where are your SAT I, SAT II, and AP scores?

I haven't taken the SAT yet (I just entered my Junior year in high school). I took the practice PSAT last year and received an 1800. I got a 4 in AP World History last year (I'm taking 5 AP courses right now and next year I'll take the other 5 or 6).
