Could you tell me what to do after deferred or accepted?

Hi all,I know this sounds really out of the blue. I am an international, and after getting 3 rejection letters, I just could not bring myself to check Yale's decision for it is my top top top choice... So yeah I know the RD result is out but I still can't look.

The thing I am scared of is, IF I get deferred, would Yale require me to reply before a certain period of time? But there is no way for me to know, cuz I haven't opened my admission status yet......

So please tell me, if I get accepted or deferred , would I have jeopardized my chance by not replying to Yale by now?

Thanks all! You know how much nerve it takes to view the result!

Love and peace

I assume you mean waitlisted, rather than deferred, since deferral only exists in the SCEA round.

In any case, you need not reply to Yale until May 1 - you are not at all too late. Good luck!

you just saved my life! Thanks so so so much

Just open up their decision so you can on in your life.
If accepted: then what?
If waitlisted, then what? (do you have another choice?)
If denied, then what? (do you have another choice?)

You have to figure out what your options are. Just do it! Good luck!

Sorry lala but you’re being rather immature. Find out your decision and move on.

By not looking at the decision you are only postponing finding out the inevitable - whether the inevitable is attending Yale or not. Brace yourself, see it and then move on. College really is not a matter of life or death. I understand your anxiety, but you are only stressing and pressuring yourself furthermore by not looking at your decision. Please, do yourself a favor and look at it.
