<p>I am a senior at Georgetown University majoring in Psychology and English. My overall GPA is a 3.879. My psychology and english GPAs are 3.842 and a 4.0, respectively. I am applying to the following Masters Programs in Counseling Psychology:</p>

<p>1) Teachers College
2) Harvard
3) UPenn
4) NYU
5) Fordham
6) CUNY Hunter</p>

<p>I have received the following scores one the GRE</p>

<p>Verbal - 152 (56%)
Quantitative - 153 (65%)
Analytical - 5.5 (96%)</p>

<p>Also, I am currently a Teaching Assistant for an Abnormal Psychology course, a Research Assistant in a lab at my school, and I am in three honor societies on campus. Furthermore, I am also involved in the Peer Mentoring and Peer Advising programs on my campus, which are giving me good experience in the area of counseling.</p>

<p>If you could chance me for the schools I have listed about I would really appreciate it! Thanks!</p>

<p>Do you have any off-campus internship experience? I’m not sure a TA or RA position will help in the admissions process for MA counseling. Peer mentoring and advising may be similar to an internship, depending on what you do. </p>

<p>“Chances” boards don’t work well for graduate programs, so I’m not sure how much feedback you’ll get.</p>
