Counsellor didn't send...

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>So my counsellor's secretary forgot to send in my Secondary School Report with counsellor evaluation and my transcript. </p>

<p>Im pretty angry because I am worried that this will jeopardize my chances. It is already February 1st and I received an email from princeton telling me to send it ASAP. The secretary said she'll just send it with my mid year report, which should be sent out by earliest this Friday. Is this too late? Princeton said to send it ASAP and if necessary to fax it right away. Considering that it will also take about a week to mail out. I dont have the guts to go to the secretary to tell her to send it now since she was already a bit upset at me as she felt quite embarrassed....</p>

<p>Another friend told me his counsellor said that this wasn't a big deal since I already reported my GPA on the commonapp so theyre trusting this is right and just want the transcript to confirm. What should I do? Should I email the school? Should i just let my school deal with it?</p>

<p>Take the email form Princeton to the secretary and ask her nicely if she will fax the SSR & transcript immediately. It is not too much to ask, and she can still send the midyear report later in the week.</p>

<p>If the secretary refuses to do this, email Princeton admissions and explain that the secretary will send it off Friday, despite your request for an earlier response. </p>

<p>We had a similar situation with my DD, and she was admitted despite the mix up.</p>

<p>same thing happened to me. forms weren’t received by the university from my counselor (i think she may have not sent them to begin with) and they kept contacting her. i think it may have been a week or 2 before decisions came out when she finally sent my mid-year report since they called her. although i think you will be fine, it is best to follow fauve’s recommendation.</p>
