On the CommonApp I reported that I would be taking AP Psych second semester...

Unfortunately, I am not in AP Psych and it is second semester. My schedule has always caused problems, so I talked to my counselor and the associate principal as usual in August before school started. We worked it out and it was perfect. Then I found out before winter break that I was not signed up for AP Psych. I talked to my counselor and the assoc. principal again and they said they'd fix it.

I've been trying to get them to fix it since the beginning of second semester, but they won't do it. I go to my counselor, but she says that she can't change it and tells me to see the assoc. principal. I go to the assoc. principal, explain it to her, but she tells me that I need to talk to my counselor because counselors change schedules. So I go to my counselor and she says she can't. Basically, they're just passing around the problem and refusing to make a few clicks.

Now I've missed three full weeks of an AP course and still no sign of getting my schedule fixed. Even if they suddenly decide to be competent I have to make up so much work.

Should I just leave it alone and explain to the colleges why I'm not taking AP Psych? I want to major in Psych but I'm not going to hang myself if I don't take Psych in high school. The only reason I'm freaking out about taking Psych is because I reported on the CommonApp that I would be taking the class. Will it hurt my chances of admission if I don't take Psych?
