<p>I was just about to post my application off to A&M when I realised most schools require a counselor rec from applicants! It's my understanding that generally A&M does not require teacher recommendations, but since I'm homeschooled (auto top quarter) and I have a 35 ACT, I'm an auto-admit, so do I still have to send in any recs at all?</p>
<p>Also, what's the difference between counselor recs and teacher recs? Are counselor recs normally automatically submitted by GCs at public schools? Normally the homeschool parent writes one, so I need to know if normally kids get one sent to A&M.</p>
