Counselor Reccomendation Question

Okay. I just have a quick question. I'll be applying next fall to ED engineering, and I know that they require a counselor recommendation. Well I am transferring schools for next semester, so I will be at another school for half of my junior and my full senior year. (Reason of transfer was the fact that my school was WAY to small and offered no courses. I would have almost no courses my senior year, plus the school i am transferring too has allowed me to go into their IB Program) Should I get my counselor to mention that I transferred because of that? Will Cornell be able to tell that for 2 and a half years of my high school were spent in a different enivronment then the last one and a half?
Thanks!

Yes, I'm sure the admission's officers will be smart enough to figure it out.

I would politely ask your current and new counselors to work together on the recommendation. Your new counselor could incorporate quotes from your previous counselor in his/her rec. Often, high school counselors ask for comments from teachers since they don't usually have the time to know a student well (depending on the caseload).

Okay!
Thank you. I'll talk to my counselor about it.
