My counselor had to email some documents to the AOs, including the Counselor’s Letter of Recommendation. The other documents were uploaded to my Application - however, the Counselor Recommendation has not been uploaded. My teachers’ recommendations, which were submitted through the CommonApp, do show up on the Application Checklist.
This has not been the case for all my colleges. In the Application Checklists of these other colleges, both the Counselor Recommendation and the teachers’ recommendations show up.
Why did this happen? Could it be that they no longer consider the Counselor Recommendation credible because it was sent by email?
If the rec wasn’t submitted through the Common App then it wouldn’t show on the Common App checklist. Did you check with the schools individually to see if they received it? You should be able to check via each school’s portal.

There were other documents not submitted through the CommonApp (which were then sent by email), but the AOs still added them to my Application Checklist. Only the Counselor Recommendation was not added by these 3 colleges.
My guess is that all the documents would have been sent in the same email, as separate attachments. Therefore, if one arrived at a particular location, they should all have arrived.
I would check with each school to determine the status.

Yes, all the documents were sent in the same email, all as seperate attachments. Only the counselor recommendation has not been added to my portal for some colleges. Hopefully it’s not too late to ask them why this has happened.
