Counselor recommendation mistake. Need help !

So i was working on my common app as and i seem to have made a mistake in counselor recommendation part where i typed “I have known him for x years as his mathematics teache Vice Principal” when i was supposed to write " I have known him for x years as his Vice Principal " instead and i submitted that part without reviewing properly and now that i saw the mistake i’m feeling really bad and wondering what i should do.
Note : My school’s counselor had me do the inviting and writing part of the common app (his counselor account). I did everything else okay but i messed up on that part and now i cannot edit it so i am not sure what i should do.

Should i notify my counselor of the mistake ? He is not that experienced with common app too so i am not sure what to do.
Thank you

Well, you aren’t supposed to write this for yourself. Even an inexperienced GC could do his own writing. (Btw, you’re inexperienced, too.)

As this is your only post, we have no idea what college targets and how much it matters. A highly selective college might notice he wasn’t your math teacher (if teacher names appear on the transcript or if the real math teacher has written an LoR.) But how they’d react depends on the whole of what you wrote.

Does your counselor still have the opportunity to edit the recommendation? If so, then he is likely to fix this whether you ask him or not – although pointing this out to him might be the right thing to do.

No i mistakely did submit so cannot edit now. But yeah ill be going to counselor monday for documents as well as pointing out this.

Uhh well i would say 90% of the time counselor in my countries school makes student do these writing work ourself but they give us what we should write and they check later. But i made mistake of submitting that specific part and i cant edit now so i think ill point it out to my counselor so that he can sort it out with the university when they contact him. I think the university will understand its a typo though.
