Counselor says I have a 50% chance-what do you think?

<p>Kei O lei: I have a question for you about your Brown stats: are you saying that among ALL the valedictorians who applied, 24% were admitted? Or is it that among the entering Freshman class, 24% of students were valedictorians?</p>

<p>“You might even have a 20% chance” is as high as my generic compliment-giving gets. 50% isn’t true for non-Olympians.</p>

<p>Of course, who knows the raw numbers? Did 2000 Vals apply and they admitted 500? Or did 20 Vals apply and they admitted 5?</p>
