Counselor Submitted Optional Report instead of Midyear Report

Hi all,

I am a little worried about my applications that I submitted because I just realized my counselor submitted the optional report instead of the midyear report. She said that she had submitted my updated grades. However, she must have done this through the optional report. Do I still need to submit my midyear report and will this affect my admissions chances? I asked her about it and never heard back. The counseling services at my school are not the greatest, so hopefully the colleges will understand.

It really shouldn’t make a difference, and it’s too late now anyways. Do your colleges say they’ve received your mid year report? If not, maybe send a quick email to all of them saying it was submitted via the optional report.
