Counselor/Teacher Recs

<p>Hi,
I was wondering whether or not it is acceptable for the Teacher/Counselor recs (and transcript) to be sent via the Common Application rather than by mail. On the Cornell's website it mentions mailing the materials, but the process is unclear to me since the Common Application has slots for Teacher/Counselor Recs that would be sent online.

<p>i thought you had to mail. i gave my teachers and counselor all the necessary materials (envelope, stamp, etc) and they mailed it off. but there's probably something about sending it online.</p>

<p>i thought that they wanted your teachers to mail it so that you won't see what they wrote (since you did have to sign the waiver).</p>

<p>you dont see what they wrote....
when you go on common app you add the teachers...and include their email addresses and then common app sends them the form, they fill it out and submit it themselves via common app...you never see it</p>
