Goal: 35
Likely score: 34
English: 32-34
Math: 36
Reading: 36
Science:32-34

I love how everyone on cc was raging about how hard the science was, and yet their predictions are like 30~32+. Lol.

If everybody found Science hard, they will adjust the curve. Keep in mind they want to maintain their usual amount of 36’s on each section, so if the amount of 36’s on science this time is extremely low, they’ll adjust the curve further to make it fair, thus giving out roughly the same amount of 36’s as they usually do.

Anyway, my status still says registered, not tested.

but wouldn’t our performance on the test be irrelevent if the curve is predetermined?

Hi,
100
And I want to score 100

Where do we go to see the status of our exam? (Registered or Tested)

6 days

Sent from my iPhone using CC

Still no change hopefully it’ll change before tomorrow

Days remaining: 6

I’m still registered, not tested.

Dirkslam, while tests may be predetermined, when they look at stats, they’ll notice that the amount of 36’s for science are exceptionally low when compared to other months, so they’ll modify the curve.

The more challenging a section, the better the curve. You’re never going to be cheated score-wise, otherwise people would sue the company.

Thanks. Btw, what do you guys think the national average was for the science this time?

English - 30?
Math - 31?
Reading - 26?
Science - 27?
Essay~

C: 29…

This is my guess at how I did:
English - 32
Math - 31
Reading - 28
Science - 28
Composite - 30
Essay - 8 or 9

I took the June sitting and found that this one was much easier except for the science. I literally cannot wait for these scores!

I think the reading curve will be brutal. Something like -6=30

Oh man I love CCers! “They will change science curve because not enough people got a 36”. Better to say that “They will change the science curve because the average score was 15 - 17 instead of 20 - 22.” I’m thinking that ACT doesn’t care whether 300 people got a 36 as opposed to 700.

Regardless hopefully the science curve is generous PLEASE!!

Still hasnt changed to “tested” whats the possibility of it changing to tested by Monday? xD

Days remaining: 5

I took the ACT the second time on September 8th and am awaiting my scores.

I made a 20 composite score 4 years ago.

My goal composite score this time is a 30 and above. I need at least a 25 or I’m going to take it again.

I believe I did get a 25, and perhaps even a 30. We’ll see.

The questions were a LOT easier than I thought they were going to be, but I won’t get my hopes up really high.

I have this strong feeling I will get a 28. But I want a 30 haha

I always hate waiting for the scores; it kills me not knowing! lol

Anyway, I’m hoping for a 30+, but I probably got more like a 28-29.
Here’s my predictions:
English: 35-36
Reading: 34-35
Math: 25
Science: 25

I will be highly disappointed if I get another 30 or 31… I really want that 32, but the more I think about it, the more I worry. & the reason I’m mad about the science was that it was usually a neutral or positive factor for my score, so if it becomes a negative, that’s a double edged sword in some cases.

But like a lot of people are saying, I’m sure we’ll get a somewhat desirable curve based on the scores.

Basically 4 days as far as I’m concerned!

Still says “registered” -____- i guess ill be getting my scores another time LOL

Days remaining: 4
