What do you guys mean when you’re talking about “tested” and “registered”? What and where should I be looking?

@dodmoful Sign into your act account and the at the top right hand corner click “My Account” from there, on the left hand side there will be an option that says “Your Test Dates and Scores” click that and then beside the September or what ever test it will say “registered” or “tested” if it says tested then you will be getting your scores Monday.

A RAY OF HOPE

Got results today from one of my colleges. While I don’t know how many I got wrong I will say that the science curve MUST be generous because I got a 27 and I thought I bombed it. Totally guessed the last 7 questions. (although it seems for most of you a 27 is a bomb, for me it’s ok still a 91 percentile)

34 English - expected
32 Math - lower than expected
33 Reading - a little higher than expected

32 Composite (just barely)! I will take it and run away from ACT and SAT FOREVER!!

For those of you worrying about the registered vs. tested - that status can change all the way up to the last minute before results are released. Chances are you will see your results on the 24th.

Good luck to the rest of you!

How did you get your scores already? O: Very good job!! and thats for the reassurance on the tested and registered subject xD

@SpitPhire It says registered, but thanks for the help.

You’re welcome! It can still change though so we may get our scores Monday still

the colleges find out before we do?

Yeah, people who choose to have their scores sent directly to college have their scores delivered faster. Note that the score deliveries are to the colleges, not to the test taker haha

My status is still registered. Don’t think it matters, does it?

@TheNexus i think all it means is that your scores aren’t 100% going to come Monday. There’s a possibility they will, but if it was marked “Tested” You’ll definitely get your scores Monday.

@SpitPhire Yes I took writing. I think I got another 10. I really don’t have any hope for a 12. I had an unusually short amount of time on the essay and I’m pretty certain our teacher put hour:51 instead of hour:59 because there’s no way I spent 8 minutes reading the extremely short passage since I looked at the clock before brainstorming on the paper…but whatever…I wasn’t absolutely certain he accidentally marked the time wrong, I raised my hand, but he never noticed so oh well…still managed three total paragraphs and a thesis…hopefully that’s enough? I’m still just registered…ah! I’d really like to see my scores! Though I put down 4 schools to send the scores too, not sure if that gives priority to my test over someone who didn’t mark any schools to send the scores to.

And hurray for the possible extremely generous curve on science! There is hope that I receive a higher instead of a low 20 and my composite won’t tank as much

So, I’m looking on my account, and it doesn’t say registered or tested. It just says test location: national. But my scores aren’t up yet, of course. I don’t know what’s wrong.

hmmm, that is weird O_o it doesn’t say anything on the status side?

Did you click where it says “Your Test Date and Scores” on the left side, that is where it should show up.

Oh gosh, now I feel stupid. Yep, it says tested. Haha! Thanks.

My daughter took the Sept 2012 test and I received an email from University of Alabama this past Monday telling me they got her score from that test. I was astounded!

Do most schools contact you to say they got your schools/ here they are? Or is that just specific schools?

Minnesotafats, did they tell you how many you missed per section to get those scores?

I’m like dying to know what I got. I’ve been frantically checking my ACT student account to see if the scores are up, even if I know they aren’t supposed to be until Monday. I’m really hoping I increased my score by at least one point from last time, which would be a 27. I need that score in order to get into the Honors Program at the college I’m going to as well as to automatically be accepted into the program I chose for my major. But, at this point, i really don’t know whether or not my score increased. I mean I felt better about it than I did after taking the test in June, but that doesn’t really say anything. For all I know, I could get a lower score than I did last time.

They do not tell you how many you miss.
