count down..

i'm totally with you dude

does anyone really know when they'll email us??

will they send us an e-mail or a letter in the mail, or both?

And i think its Dec 15th.

dec 15? everyones saying either 9 or 10

my interviewer (CC'77) said you will get a email notification on the 14th and then a mailed letter two days later.

It was on the 9th last year.

this is weird some people say 9th and some say 15th and they all heard it from their interviewers. Any clarifications please?

i didnt hear from my interviewer. She didn't tell me anything of that sort. But on the site and the application instructions, it does say mid-december. And that means the 15th.

Personally, I just think a different of about six days does not make a big deal. Just wait, and chill

*difference

its a whole week more of waiting. and a whole week less time to work on other apps.

arn't ED relases subjected to the common release date in the ivy agreement?

last year most school released on 9th btw, except for princeton yale (couldnt check for harvard). I remember because some people from a school club applied ED and were checking their results on thursday.

9th or 10th but just keep in mind you should still be working on other applications, especially privates because of interviews the earlier ur application gets in the more likely u'll get ur interview

i think the 15th is the latest mandatory date that columbia has to notify us. last year though, i remember they notified the seniors in our school close to a week before schools like harvard and yale told them. it's highly probable that it's going to happen again this year. and for us nervous little ed'ers, it's just not good enough to guess the 15th.

i'm officially leaning closer to the 9/10th than 15th.

FINALLY CLARIFICATIONS!!!!

5.. days.. left... dies

woooooooo 3 days.. im freakin out

hehe.. the freakout started a while ago for me

I am so ridiculously nervous. Seriously, it is so crazy. I cant imagine opening my email and having my life-altering moment right there, at the computer screen. Then again, I am definitely not waiting for the mail to get here 2 days later.
I was looking at pictures somewhere online of them sending out the applications a few years ago and the UPS envelopes are 2 day air. I wonder what rejection letters look like, ha ha, ill guess ill be finding out soon enough.
anyway.
in less than 70 hours, we should have our decisions. Scary.

i caught the cold friday morning and it got worse over the weekend. surely this can't be a good sign =(

well you know there's a chinese saying that good luck and bad luck goes hand in hand, so if you count catching a cold as bad luck.. then you are missing the good luck ...

what? im chinese and i never heard that saying =P. but i hope to god its true
