The Thornton School of Music at USC celebrated 125 years in 2009. I do not know if this will add any information to your post, but I read an unofficial source that indicated the freshmen class in the various disciplines will be around 110-120. The largest major is Music Industry. The source wrote there were over 400 applications for 40 places in that particular major. </p>
