Countdown and Results Thread for the December SATs.

Damnit; I can't fall asleep now.

A 2000+ is really good...

PurpleTurtle, I know that that's all I'll actually need, but my PSAT score was better and my brother beat me with no prep so I feel disappointed.

Pssssssssh who cares about the PSAT.

It doesn't matter if your brother "beat" you when both of your scores are so ridiculously high. :P

eff life...(october-dec)

CR: 600-560
Math: 800-700 <- it's okay, was focusing on CR and writing, but failed...
Writing: 730-720...

the only thing that went up was my essay 10 -> 11 but my MC went down so eff...

lol its okay, PARTY TONIGHT WOOHOO LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

lol you are still in school?

I got a better PSAT score too...and I don't know if applying to Stanford with a history major I'll be needing a higher score =P

cr: 650
math: 640
writing: 700, essay:10
overall: 1990
=/
did a lot of tests.. did a lot of practice..i dont understand how many ppl can get more than 2100 by only doing like 1 practice test.. i guess i just gotta work harder =/

Nvm, found the essay score.

KevRus - our score sheets are identical!!

Thank you KevRus!

I can't tell if you're joking or not, and that scares me. :P

Quick question, I don't understand the significance of "Multiple Choice (Score Range 20-80)." Surely there wasn't a total of 80 questions on the test?

As far as I know, the W MC is a subset of your total W score. The 20-80 MC scaled score is combined with your 2-12 essay score to get your 200-800 scaled total W score. Some correct me if I'm wrong!

Oh, that makes sense. I didn't realize the MC score was a subsection of the Writing score.

correct^

and i didnt get what i wanted. went down in EACH category

I'm not joking... they are the same in scores, percentiles, and essay

So what was your writing score? :D

OMG, I got the same exact score also. LIKE EVERYTHING THE SAME!

Wow, just got my results back and they were retarded. I predicted something like 670 reading, 720 math, and 670 writing, but I get 650 reading, 750 math, and 790 writing (with a 12 essay?!?!?!). Honestly, I could care less about my writing score and have never studied for it, and of course I score the highest on that. I wish we could exchange reading and writing...
