<p>So we know you are all counting down the days until boarding school starts, but what day is it for you? Are you arriving ahead of the rest of your class because of sports? Do the new kids arrive before the returning kids? How many days or orientation do you get before Day 1 of classes?</p>

i dont play a fall sport so i dont go early
but classes start that saturday for everyone
but the regular class shedule starts monday
the weekend is a closed weekend supposed to be REALLY fun

<p>All my friends in local high already got their schedule, they who will be their teacher. Everybody are texting around, except me. Feels like I'm an outsider.</p>
<p>I have to wait until the first day of school to know my class schedule and roommate. Sad at the mid of August!</p>

i dont go to preseason with the varsity athletes.
new kids come on the thursday and friday of that week, and all the returning students come on saturday,
so i guess we get a who 3 days of orientation before we actually start class :)</p>

<p>My D got her roommate assignment today. They arrive on August 31 but classes start Tuesday the second.</p>
<p>Looks like some of you still get a labor day weekend with your families.</p>
<p>Arrive Sept. 7, classes Sept. 9. I think the 8th is all buying books. :) New kids arrive before.</p>

<p>I wish Exeter would tell us what the crud-muffins is up. Actually they are keeping us informed pretty well... I just can't wait to know who my roommate is (Anyone know if we get their SN/phone number ahead of time too?) and which dorm I'm in (I am praying for one near a dining hall.) Gah, 21 more days till Exeter. 3 more weeks. A fortnight and a half. Eek!</p>

<p>Sara - are you happy you are starting early or do you wish you could stay home til after labor day like some of the other schools mentioned here. I think alot of people here are anxious to start.</p>
