[Countdown] for June 2009 SAT scores

You only see your M, CR, and W (with Essay) scores.

The extended crap, which tells you how many you got wrong and all, comes out on July 6th. That’s what it says @Borb.

"Please check back in 7-10 days for June SAT scores

Although most scores for the June SAT are online now, a small number are not yet available. If your scores are not currently available online, please learn why and check back in about a week."

rage mode

Yeah I found my essay. I scored almost exactly as I predicted overall (2100 predicted, 2090 reality ).
740CR
760M
590W
8 essay
I really need to spend more time reading bona fide literature instead of scientific articles. My grammar is complete crap haha. Oh well they say you can expect something in the neighborhood of 100 points improvement the second try which would place me exactly where I want to be.

All that extra work I put in paid off. I went from a 1900 to a 2220 with about a week or 2 of prep

I ended up getting an 1840 (up from 1760) but my math score is still terrible, I even went down 10 pts (got a 560 this time). I really need to focus on math.

Math- 800
Writing- 770 (8 essay 80 multiple choice)
Critical reading-630 ( either I suck more than I thought or I misbubbled)

If the view score doesn’t work for you, log out of your normal account organizer first. Try it

Mine displayed essay score almost immediately. Think this way, why would they hide a small portion of people’s essay score when others have seen it? They have already compiled your writing score, so it should be natural to think that the essay score is used to determine that, meaning it’s already available.

hey i skipped one math question and got a 780… did anyone get a 790?? I just want an idea of what the curve was like

YES!!! i’m so happppppppppppyyyyy
CR-730(up from 700)
M-800(up from 740)
W-670(up from 610)
2200! up from 2050

=)

So, all of my fear came true… basically.

I got an 1870 (680/500/690) – 10 pts higher than in January. I went down 10 points in CR, down 30 in Math (>,< it was already so low!!), up 50 in writing, and down 1 in the essay.

Superscored I have a 1910… but I really retook to get my scre out of 1600 closer to 1300. It’s still a 1220.

This really rots.

But congrats to everyone – I see a lot of amazing scores.

1760… I am SOOO unhappy right now. I knew having a cold would affect my scores! :(

Really?

My sickness had the opposite effect. I had a fever the night before and I was pretty much high off of advil walking into the exam. Did 190 points better than my first one.

I’m ecstatic! 2220 (CR- 690, M- 800, W- 730), up from 2050! Anything is possible lol

i got a 2270 (Cr 720, M 800, WR 750), really dissappointed cuz i wanted 2300 plus. is a 2270 enough for a chance at HYPSM? i am manually score rechecking because i for sure made four mistakes and how is that a 720?? was the CR curve hard??

90 point increase from sitting on me arse.

ftw.

Congrats to all of you guys. I have a 2010 on my SAT(610CR, 700M, 700W) and I’m from Eastern Europe. Just wanted to ask if I could get into Stanford with this score? I am honestly reluctant to take it again and I don’t know what I should do.

I am planning to take the SAT Subject tests again on 10/10 (Math1, Math2 and Spanish), on which I currently have 720, 690 and 540 respectively. What do you think I should do?

Thanks.

@aspiringfor2400
Pretty much anything 2250+ (as long as you have the grades/ECs to back it up) places you in the running at HYPSM and other top schools. I wouldn’t order manual score rechecking—it’s extremely unlikely that it will improve your score.

holy crap! i somehow managed to go from a 2060 in January to a 2170 in June!

Needless to say, I freaked out a little this morning. :)

Congratulations to all!

sorinc: take the toefl

but regardless, im not sure those test scores will do you very well at stanford.
